Just so you know, my website collects data. Not your personal data that I know of. Wordpress collects the fact you stopped by, but only to show numbers.
When you subscribe with your email, wordpress and mailchimp take that email address only for the purpose of receiving my latest post or an email in your inbox. BUT you will never hear from me more than 2 times and week and I will NEVER share or sell your email address to anyone for any reason.
Once you enter your email address you will receive an email asking if you did subscribe to All Things Genuine and if so to verify that you wanted to. So opt in is a 2 step process.
You also have the option at the end of each email to unsubscribe and with that all your info that you have provided goes away permanently.
