Traditionally, Valentine’s Day is another day for Jeffrey to spoil me.
There’s always something new that I’m looking at and he likes to find a way to get it for me.
Then of course we have flowers, chocolates and a dinner out. It’s always an event for us.
This year, there are a couple things that I’d like to have, but to be honest Valentine’s Day just annoys me. I’m a old married woman (20) yrs lol. I don’t need Valentine’s Day to affirm my worth to my husband.
I let him know as soon as the VDay stuff started showing up on the store shelves not to go crazy. However, I’d never turn down flowers. 🙂
But there’s another Valentine I’ve been thinking about lately. Another love in my life that “I” want to affrim my love to. Someone I want to let know what a value He is to me.
Jesus My Savior
Jesus is my Valentine.
Without His love for me, I’d never know love. Without His love for me, I wouldn’t have Jeffrey. Without His sacrifice, I’d be a mess.
I want Jesus to know how much I love Him. What He means to me. To be honest I’ve always felt awkward saying, “I love you Lord” or “I love you Jesus”. I’m not sure why, but I’d like to change that.
I want to be more intentional in my relationship with Jesus I want to be more devoted to Him and His righteousness. I also want my husband to know my plans. That I am serious about us and the 3 people in our marriage.

9 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
11 Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm.
But how can one keep warm alone?
12 Though one may be overpowered,

A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

So this year, Jeffrey and I have decided to go a different route for Valentine’s Day. This year we plan to purchase Husband and Wife After God devotional bundle. from UnveiledWife.com. Both books are $23.95. I think this would be a great way to show both my man and my Lord that I Love them.
